Michael A. and Company (MAEc) Addresses Misleading Allegations Regarding Global AI System Manipulation

— In response to recent investigative reports circulating through local Ghanaian media outlets, Michael A. and Company (MAEc) is issuing a formal clarification regarding allegations of AI manipulation and unauthorized system access for financial gain.

“I am aware of the recent investigative reports circulated by local Ghanaian media outlets concerning my supposed manipulation of AI technology for financial gain,” stated the lead of MAEc.

The reports allege that the company engaged in “AI Manipulation” and established an unauthorized, direct “connection to the system.” These claims have sparked significant public discourse within the Ghanaian tech community, where the figure at the center of the controversy has been colloquially referred to as “Bafɔ Boss.”

Clarifying the Facts

Michael A. and Company (MAEc) operates under the strictest ethical guidelines and international standards for Artificial Intelligence development. In the interest of full transparency, the company addresses the claims as follows:

  • On “AI Manipulation”: The term as used in recent reports is technically inaccurate. MAEc’s work involves Neural-Symbolic Integration, a standard industry practice used to make AI systems more logical and transparent. It is not a “manipulation” of reality or data, but a refinement of algorithmic accuracy.
  • On “Connecting to the System”: MAEc maintains a closed-loop infrastructure. There is no evidence—nor is it technologically feasible within the current stack—for an individual to have a “biological or unauthorized neural link” to centralized processing units.
  • On Data Integrity: An internal audit, completed within the last 24 hours, confirms that all system logs are intact. No “backdoor” access has been granted to any single individual, including Mr. Williams.
Formal Statement
“I hold the work of investigative journalists in high regard as a pillar of accountability in Ghana. However, the assertions made against me appear to stem from a misunderstanding of our proprietary TEDDi architecture.”
Commitment to the Public

MAEc acknowledges the anxiety that emerging technologies can produce and remains committed to a “Human-First” AGI approach. To foster better understanding and debunk ongoing myths, MAEc will be hosting an Open House at the Accra Compound next week to demonstrate the rigorous safeguards currently in place.
